How Can The Excessive Discharges Be Treated?

Hi my name is Brooke and I am 18. About 6 months ago after having sex i decided to go on birth control. Around the time that i went on the birth control i developed a UTI (worst experience ever). My body from that point on went crazy and i had light spotting for months straight (heavier during my time of month). I decided to get off the birth control. Now i am stuck with excessive discharge. Everyone says that discharge is normal but it is to the point where i have to wear a tampon because there is that much. The tampon comes out full too! Is there anything i can do to get rid of this?? I ve never had a problem with discharge up until this year.
