HOW WORSE IS MY POLYCYSTIC OVARIES ? WILL I HAVE THE CHANCE TO HAVE MY OWN CHILD? MY UTERUS IS RETROVERTED WITH SMOOTH CONTOUR AND HOMOGENOUS ECHOPATTERN MEASURING 4.4x4.2x3.5 cm. THE CERVIX MEASURES 2.7x2.6x2.3 cm with homogenous stroma and an anechoic cyst measuring 0.7 cm (nabothian cyst). the endocervical canal is distint the endometrium is hyperechoic measures 0.9 cm with intact subendometrial halo. the right ovary measures 3.5 x 3.5 x2.7 cm the left ovary measures 3.1 x 2.7 x 2.0 cm both ovaries have multiple anechoic foci, 12 follicles/scan, no adnexal masses seen at the time of scan there is no free fluid in the cul de sac IMPRESSION: NORMAL SIZED RETROVERTED UTERUS ENDOMETRIUM COMPATIBLE WITH SECRETORY PHASE POLYCYSTIC OVARIES
Hi I think you can have your own child. In polycystic ovarian syndrome, there is absence of ovulation which leads to delayed periods and difficulty in conceiving. But there are medicines which can help you in getting pregnant. You can take some medicines like clomiphene for inducing ovulation. You can also take metformin and some drugs like myoinositol and n acetyl cysteine for improving pco. Try losing some weight. Hope it helps.
