How Can The Tongue Worm Growths Be Treated?

I have a growth toward the back of my tongue that looks kind of like three small worms. These fibers are about 1/4 of an inch long and are very soft. They lie flat against my tongue but will stand up when I move them. I am 55, weigh 206, and am healthy.

Hi,

These are not worms. They are called pappilae. They are naturally present to protect your tongue and also to sense the taste. Tastebuds are attached to it. Inyour case it may be little elongated may be because of some trauma. Dowarm salt water gargle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
