How Can Thenar Numbness With Arm Pain Be Treated?

Hi I've had implant in since aug 2010 and ever since I get numb feeling in my left hand in between my thumb and finger and my arm really hurts were the implant should be, but I went to doctors to have it removed and after 30 minutes of prodding around he couldnt find it now if got to go to hospital for a ultrasound
