How Can Throat Congestion Be Treated?

My husband suffers from very. Tonight he woke me saying the acid is Closing his airway. He is gasping for air. I gave him ice cold water and a cold compress. What else should I do? He said it feels as though his throat is swelling and constricting the airway. It sounds that way too. Kinda like croup in a child.

for hyper acidity you have to take antacid and if it is inflamatory cause then get checked by ent specialist. gofor warm saline gurgling and can take ezythrocin 500mg daily in morning for 4 days.
