How Can Throat Congestion Be Treated?

Hi Im not to sure where to start bit ive been having troath problems for about 2-3 yrs but its hard to explain. Im gonna try my best, i sometimes have this white stuff in back of my troath. I sometimes also feel like theres something in my troath that makes me cough and sometimes gag What could this be

Hello,

It seems you are suffering from chronic infection of the throat. It can be tonsillitis and needs further evaluation. You need to get yourself checked by an ENT specialist as soon as possible.

It can also have a malignant pathology as you have mentioned that you have observed a white patch in the back of your throat. If it has an infective pathology then you will be prescribed an antibiotic course depending on your throat culture.

But if it has a malignant pathology then treatment will depend on the diagnosis.
