How Can Throbbing Pain In The Legs And Arms Be Treated?

Hi, my legs and arms ache. The throbbing pain goes down both legs from hips to feet. My arms ache from shoulder to tips of fingers. I had the same symptons a few months ago and when I went to the emergency room I was admitted with extreme dehydration and severe loss of potassium. I was placed the the hospital about a week ago with a primary diagnosis of acute pancreatitis, but I was also low on potassium and was given the pill form (2 a day) for four days. My question is could my symptoms be due to low potassium and what can be the cause of low potassium?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that they may be due to low potassium since this was the case on previous occasions.

There are certain hormones in the body that can influence the potassium levels such as aldosterone or angiotensin.
If these levels are abnormal ,it can affect potassium.

You may need to consider seeing an endocrinologist for assessment.

I hope this helps
