How Can Tinnitus And Severe Fatigue Be Treated?

hello, i ve been sick for a few (4) weeks - began with cold/flu. received treatment for flu (augmentin) and some misc spray and allergy type meds (which i didn t make more than 1 day). i took the antibiotic (one, twice daily) for 5 days but they were making me sick- vomit, diareah then stopped. then travelled to florida (bad idea) - was sick the whole time. got worse when i got there. went to ER. told i probably never had flu (tested via swab) and i have a virus. when we returned home i went to ER here in NJ (5 days later from 1st) - went thru many blood tests and lung xrays and even cat-scan- all checked out ok. Told i have a virus and drink a lot. A week later i m still sick- tho maybe better- not nautious, no diareah- i can eat.. i m just SO weak. and i have this ringing/buzzing in my head. Not sure what to do now.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take drugs like betahistine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
