How Can Tonsil Stone Be Removed?

Hello, I was removing a tonsil stone earlier and now it seems like a piece of the tonsil or gum has disconnected. It looks as if it is supposed to be tucked in but now it hangs out against my tongue and it is very bothersome. Is something wrong? How can I fix it? I can't find information or similar stories anywhere.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain if a piece of gum or tonsil tissue is hanging against the tongue then it should be taken care of and you should consult an Oral Surgeon or Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..

He can either remove the tissue and if it s a larger piece of tissue then it can be sutured to let it heal..

As of now you should take a soft diet and avoid touching it again and again to prevent further injury..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
