How Can Tonsillitis Be Treated?

Hi, just recently my partner got tonsilitis so we avoided any kissing or anything until he thought it was gone- it turns out that even after 2 weeks with the medication it wasnt gone and we had been kissing- is there a chance that i could have tonsilitis as i have been having a constant tickle in my throat causing me to cough and throw up, and i was just wondering if i go to see a doctor would they be able to look and tell me straigh away whether or not i have it- would i be best doing this as soon as possible so j can get rid of it before it gets as bad as his did

I think you are confused between tonsillitis and sore throat. You don't have to worry about getting tonsillitis from your boyfriend. I hope that answers your question.
