General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen. I also recommend using an anti-inflammatory cream for local application. Ice compresses can also help in relieving the pain. Avoid overuse of the muscle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
