Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain and history of chewing tobacco it seems that you are suffering from Oral Submucous Fibrosis in which there is formation of fibrous bands behind the mucosa of the inner side of cheeks leading to tightening, stiffness and reduction in mouth opening.
It is a precancerous condition and should be taken care of as it can transform into cancer.
You should immediately stop chewing tobacco and in case of addiction alternates like nicotine chewing gum and nicotine skin patches can help in reducing craving..
You should immediately consult an Oral physician and he can advise you to apply a steroid ointment along wit hyluronidase containing ointment..
Intra lesional injections of steroid and hyluronidase can be given directly over the fibres..
Anti-oxidants like Lycopene has to be taken daily.
Mouth opening exercises will also be demonstrated that has to be done 3 to 4 times a day..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
