How Can Upper Respiratory Infection Be Treated?

I have had long-term upper respiratory problem for about a year, but it has become more severe in the past three weeks -- persistent, productive cough, especially in the morning; heavy nasal and throat congestion; frequent sputum, usually green, sometimes lighter in color; and recently, infections in both eyes. I am pretty sure that this is related to my suppressed immune system following a year of chemotherapy. (I am currently in remission and undergoing observation and maintenance chemo (Rituxin) and IGIV.) But I am wondering if I am following the proper regimen for the symptoms -- saline nasal flush, Flonase cortisone spray, Tessel Pearls for the cough, some over the counter cold medicine which reduces the congestion a bit.
