How Can Uterine Polyps Be Removed?

Hi! I have recently had an out patient hysteroscopy to remove a large uterine polyps. sadly it was too painful to remove, but a sample was removed of it and the result came back that it was pre cancerous. This was approx 10 months ago. However due to various health issues and me weighing 28 stones, It is not possible to remove it by D&C as I cant be put under general annasthetic. Two weeks ago, a second out patient hysteroscopy was performed but it failed as no polyps was removed or sample taken, as the pain ment that the precedure had to be abandoned before they could be taken. However some of the large polyps was cut off but remains in my uterus. What will happen to the polyps that was cut off but not removed if it doesnt come out naturally?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Polyps are not going to come out naturally, there is a requirement of definite surgery in terms of hysterectomy; if it is confirmed as precancerous lesion.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
