How Can Uterus Polyps Be Removed?

Hello Doctor,,My mom is suffering from polyps in uterus ....Doctor suggested for D&C does that really help??? I heard like D&C is not the correct treatment for the polyps removal and also she is suffering from thyroid and blood platlet count low...Please help ... Would you suggest D&C or laproscopic Surgery...the size of the polyp is 20x10mm thank you so much for help......
