General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I wouldn't advise you to increase the dose of norethisterone without consulting your gynecologist. Since you are still experiencing heavy bleeding, I would advise you to get yourself checked by a gynecologist. If it controls by medicines, then the fibroid may have to be removed surgically.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman
