How Can Vaginal Infection Be Treated?

I have been having ongoing issues with vaginal infection. My dr. left a message of another type of infection- capsiellis? or papsiellis- anyway wants me to take cipro. I am concerned because I have had several rounds of antibiotics. Should I be with staring a new drug?

Hi,

Instead of oral antibiotics you can try clotrimazole vaginal tablets 100 mg inserted in vagina 12 hourly for 4-5 days. It will be better option than oral ciprofloxacin.

Thank you for asking the question.
I find this answer helpful
