Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have varicose vein issues in both legs. I had an ultrasound and revealed that I have leaking valves. The doctor suggests I have vein surgery (outpatient). My left leg tends to turn a reddish blue color. The veins you cannot see---they don t bulge or anything. What causes that? My dad had an open sore on his leg and had vein issues as well. Thanks!
Dear sir. Kindly meet the surgeon. so that he suggests you stocking for temporary purpose and also keep you legs elevated by placing 1 r two pillows below your leg. This will slow the progression of the disease if varicose veins. But if no relief better get a small surgery and get the vein stripped and leaky valves repaired. Thank u
