Vitiligo treatment is sometimes difficult, but not to be discouraged. There are treatment options such as:
1. Topical corticosteroids.
2. Light treatment.
3. PUVA therapy.
4. Surgical therapy if other treatments have had no effect. So contact a dermatologist and together discuss the most appropriate therapy.
Sometimes cosmetics to camouflage lost colour are a fast and safe method to hide those white areas on your legs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Suzana Zharri,
General & Family Physician
