How Can Vomiting, Fever And Persistent Headache Be Treated?

Hello. My husband has been vomiting since yesterday (about 3 times total). At work the medics thought that he looked dehydrated. After several attempts of an IV on both arms, they ended up placing the IV in his leg. That eventually didn t work either (sorry, don t know the proper terms here). He s saying that he can feel all the fluid in his body moving around and he s pooped himself twice... He said he s taken two nausea pills today but he just finished throwing up again. He feels warm but we don t have a thermometer to check his temp. I ve given him pedialyte to hopefully restore his electrolytes. Also he has a headache (persistent for a few days now).

hello, the main reason of failing attempt to pass I.V cannula is dehydration.in dehydration the veins become hardly visible on skin and its difficult to prick.and in your case its vomiting causing dehydration.if he is unable to take by mouth take him to the hospital to pass cannula by some super trained staff and give a shot of intravenous anti emetics with ringers lactate.
