How Can Vulva Burning Sensation With Dryness Be Treated?

I am experiencing a burning sensation on my vulva. I have never experienced anything like this before. I thought it could be my birth control pill, but was told it's not because of that. It has been very dry "down there" and thought it was because of that. I do not have STD's or a yeast or bacterial infection. Everything has checked out okay, other than this burning. Please help!
