How Can Warts Around The Vaginal Opening Be Treated?
Hi, I have a cluster of warts around the opening of my vagina, I am using condyline and have applied it four times now. At first my warts went white, now they have gone really hard and feel crusty, a brown colour with dots inside. They are SO painful, I can’t even sit down or walk properly. Is this normal, what shall I do?Thanks, Hannah
Vaginal warts are STI, sexually transmitted diseases caused by certain strains of HPV. Visit ER, take STD tests, Pap smear, HPV tests and get treated.
You may need antibiotics and antivirals along with topical products like Podophylline (Condylox) to be applied by the treating doctor to destroy the genital wart tissue. You can also go for Electrocautery, Cryosurgery, Surgical excision, laser treatments after consultation with a PCP.
In the meantime abstain from sex, stay away from addictions if any.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
