How Can Weakness In The Left Leg Be Treated?

drop foot with pinched nerve in lower back, causing weakness in left leg and an inability to walk without limping and a use of a cane. Fatigue sets in almost immediately with a tightness in the lower back and abdomen areas. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks more of problem in the back (lumbar vertebrae), I would suggest you to go for a CT scan to look for any displacements or compression of nerves/herniation of nerves. Treatment can be planned on that, most of the times its symptomatic treatment unless it has hampered your daily activities.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
