How Can Weakness In The Muscles, Nausea And Diarrhea Be Treated?

15 yr male having severe weakness, muscle and joint pain, headaches, nausea, diahhrea and appettite is poor. Has not been able to attend school for several weeks. Under Dr. s care but they have not been able to diagnose what is going on. Kept out of school because the Dr. is not sure if it is contagious. Occ has fever and is starting to get depressed from everything going on. Prescribed naproxin for inflamation and pain and an antidepressant.

I really appreciate your concern, the given history could be suggestive of some chronic infection and possibility of mycobacterium is likely, case may needs further investigation to rule out the chronic infection, autoimmune disease, functional kind of disorders, blood culture, imaging study could give some clue, such case demands complete medical attention, symptomatic medicines will not be given for long time, hope this information helps.
