How Can Weight Gain Caused By Quitting Marijuana Be Reduced?

I have gained 25 pounds since I quit smoking weed 2 months ago. I m not overeating and I have been very active lately since I have more time to be. I m assuming my metabolism has slowed down tremendously is there anything I can do to kick it back up without starting again. I have a very physical job which requires a lot of heavy lifting don t feel like I need to go to the gym to lift weightsand sweating has never been a problem for me because I always sweat a lot

Hi,

Your body should be gradually getting back to normal, but it will take a few more months. But you will need to make dietary changes. You are already doing heavy physical activity and that will definitely help. You just need to cut down the calories you ingest because the weight gain is due to increased appetite.

Best wishes.
