Venaflaxine 150 mg. Been off of this med for 5 days . going thru withdrawals. Took my last pill Fri. Morning. Did not call my Dr because I always have refills on file. Not this time ! Could not see me yesterday and today office closed at 12.00 pm. I m very sick , what can I do . See Dr tomorrow at12:3O

Hello

Venlafaxine or other central nervous system acting drugs should never be stopped abruptly. It is a process which should be done gradually, reducing the dosage progressively, every couple of weeks until complete withdrawal. That is the best means to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
