How Can Withdrawal Symptoms From Weaning Off Of Morphine And Lortab Be Dealt With?

I have been in chronic pain for ten years. My primary physician's license was restricted so that he could no longer write pain med scripts. This resulted from a local pharmacy complaining that he was prescribing too many paid meds (he was the only doc in town still willing to treat patients in pain). He then sent me to a pain management clinic. The new doc took me off morphine and prescribed lortab. This was 19 days ago. .After 7 or 8 days, I went to the er after attempting to contact both docs to no avail. The er told me the law prevents them from writing any scripts or admitting anyone for withdrawal symptoms. I am now in so much pain I can hardly get out of bed. I tried calling the pain specialist's office again this morning and have not received a call back. I don't know where to turn for help. It is hard for me to believe that I can't get help at all.
