How Can Yeast Infection Be In A Child Be Treated?

My 8-year-old granddaughter was diagnosed with a yeast infection on her bottom. What does it look like and what would you prescribe for treatment. It s been a hot summer and the biker shorts she wears cause her to sweat alot. Should she be swimming at all?

It looks like small whit patches on skin which exfoliate. She should apply antifungal cream such as Canesten or Nystatin, keep are clean and dry and avoid sintetic clothes in next few weeks.
