How Can Yeast Infection Be Treated?

My husband gets yeast infections in the crease at the top of his leg. He has been prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream. The cream doesn t seem to do anything anymore as he has been using it off and on for several years. Is there something he can be doing to avoid getting the infection in the first place and is there an over the counter medication that might be effective? Thank you. Krista Cooper
