How Concerned Should I Be About A Persistent Yellowish Discharge And Fluid Collection Seen On Ultrasound?

Hi, I am having a procedure to collect endocervical canal fluid after having a profuse yellowish discharge for 9+ months. Swab tests have been normal x2 she also did a more extensive swab test that was normal. Ultrasound results showed There is significant amount of fluid within the endocervical canal. This collection of fluid in the endocervical canal tracks into the lower uterine segment. Everything else was normal on the ultrasound. My question is what exactly will the tests results show? My MD just said she wanted to see what was in the fluid but didn t elaborate so I don t know how concerned I should be. Thank you for any insight. My test isn t for over two weeks, and I have been worrying. Would rather know what I could be dealing with than not know anything.
