How Could Tingling Sensation In Arm Be Explained?

I have had a tingling on and off for a few weeks now in my right arm. I hurt it doing some excercises and think I just pinched something. It is not getting any better and it is sort of a burning and tingling sensation. This morning it feels like it is moving more into my shoulder and chest area. Should I be concerned?
