How Do Atorvastatin And Ramipril Help In The Treatment Of Alzheimer S Disease?
I have a list of medications my mother takes for Alzheimer s and diabetes and I d just like to know more about them - Ferrous Sulfate, Donepezil, Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Omeprazole, Metformin, Sitagliptin My mother lives in Ireland, so I m not sure if there are other names for all of these
1. Omeprazole is an anti-acids and works for burning epigastrium. Its prolonged use is not very good and she may stop it if not no stomach problems.
2. Ferrous sulphate is an iron tablet. If she has a deficiency of iron she should use it. This also does not need to be taken ever, if her iron stores are normal now she can stop it.
3. Donepezil is used for dementia. This may need to be continued.
4. Metformin and Sitagliptin are for her sugar and needs to be continued.
