How Do I Get My Voice Back To Normal ?

My speaking voice is now raspy and cracks. How do I get my voice back to normal? I was very sick with a cold over a month ago and it took many weeks to finally feel better. My throat was especially sore and I had a lot of mucus. All seems to better for the most part except for my voice. My speaking voice is now raspy and cracks. I also can t sing as usual. How do I get my voice back to normal? I am a healthy 33 year old female.

Hi,

Avoid singing for few days, absolute voice rest is required, drink plenty of warm water and do steam inhalation. You will be alright.
