How Does Glucophage Help During The Ovalution?
Hi, I went to the doctor and had ultra sound done. She gave me shot of chroimon 10000 injection and and prescribed Glucophage 500 mg (one a day) pregnaplan to taken one a day and also Duphaston 10mg twice a day (to be taken two days after).She also said that I have an egg produced in the right ovary. Could you suggest me why I have to take Glucophage. THANKS

Glucophage is metformine , given to women who have PCOS because the main cause is insulin resistance.
Glukophage will help you to become pregnant.
Metformin also theoretically avoids the risks of multiple pregnancy, ovarian cancer and ovarian hyperstimulation associated with the traditional first line treatment (clomiphene).
