How Does Mirtazapine Cause Weight Gain?
i have been prescribes mirtazapine 15mg for anxiety, though the GP wasn't sure wether to give me citalopram.My question is what is the difference between the two and after doing research on the web it says that weight gain is likely on mirtazpine. Can you confirm wether that is because my metabolism will slow or my hunger will increase. thank you for your help in this matter.

because its action on histaminic receptors
between this two s citalopram has minimal action over that receptors as compare to mirtazapine
due to action over histaminic receptors sedation occur which is also common in mirtazapine as compare to escitalopram
between this two escitalopram is safer in term odf side effect profile
