Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

Nicotine is main constituent of tobacco. It is the main reason for addiction. Nicotine is highly addictive substance. As amount of nicotine intake can't be quantified in smoke and also smoking have serious effects on lungs so to prevent withdrawal nicotine gums or patches are advised. After some time once individual become free of smoke then the doses of nicotine can be reduced gradually and this help in smooth deaddiction. This is the reason for use of nicotine gums.

Commonly doctors prescribe 0.1-0.4 mg gums every time individual have craving of cigarette. Consult a doctor for detailed prescription.

Apart from this medicines like Bupropion, Buspirone are used to reduce anxiety of withdrawal. Vernicline or clonidine help in reducing symptoms of excitement and help in sleeping. Visit a psychiatrist for treatment.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
