Hi, My Self Ravi, My Wife is Suffering from Glue ear Problem for Both the Ears, Confirmed by My ENT Consultant, As I Seen in Internet Glue Ear Problem is in Children Only, Can you Suggest me How Come a Glue ear problem can be Effected to Adults, My Wife is 24 years old

Hi,

Yes, glue ear frequently affects children a lot. But, adults also can get it. Glue ear happens mainly due problems in nose and nasal cavity. Does your wife has any nasal complaints? Please let us know. If she has any nasal symptoms, those needs to be addressed first. The glue ear will resolve. If there are no nasal complaints and nasal examination is normal - then get an impedance audiometry done to confirm the glue ear and treatment can started accordingly.
