How Does A Halter Monitor Work?

I have a halter monitor on, when I hit the button it says last event and gives exact time.? I want to know if I m suppose to write down everytime the machine says I had a new event, if I m suppose to write down what I was doing? Nobody explained it to me when they put it on. You should have been given some kind of "diary" along with your monitor. This is where you write down what you did throughout the day. Example, 9:00am Took a walk no problems. 9:30am Took a shower felt a fluttering in my chest. If for some reason you weren't given a diary, then you can use a plain old piece of paper. Make sure you write down anything significant that you felt along with the time and what you were doing when it happened. This is a huge help when trying to interpret the results.
