How Does Alcohol Affect The Intake Of Invega?
My son receiving the invega ( uflexa- the long acting dose). He received is first dose in Noember scheduled to get the next dose in February. He has since started drinking after two + years of not drinking, smoking or using drugs. How will the alcohol affect him on this drug.

You should avoid the use of alcohol while being treated with invega.
Alcohol can increase the nervous system side effects of invega (paliperidone) such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating.
Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment.
