my mother, age 88 was diagnosed with metastatic urothelial carcinoma. just 6 weeks ago. we were told she had 6-9 months with pallative radiation. she passed away last week. in the end, she could not turn over, sit up or do anything but lie on her back. the pain was so intense. she had been fairly healthy up until this. how can cancer be so aggressive and cause someone die so quickly? i'm still not believing what we just went through.
