Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi i have looking on the internet of the effcets a cannabis vaporizer would have on a person with copd and other respiratory problems, i have found out using a vaporizer can significantly lower symptoms but that is it, would you be able to shed any more light on this subject for me.

I can understand your concern.
Cannabis is centrally acting (acts on brain) abusive substance.
It causes depression of brain centers including respiratory center.
Respiratory is main part who regulates breathing.
So when someone take Cannabis, his breathing becomes slow. This is therefore reason why COPD patients feel good after taking Cannabis.
But this is life threatening in long term use. Long term Cannabis intake can cause respiratory depression (no breathing) and ultimately death.
It is also habit forming agent.
So better not to use Cannabis in COPD patients.
