Hello , Diabetes is not an infective disease, so there is no question of Infection, But yes certainly it can be acquired depending on presence of risk factors, such as Heridity, Advancing age, Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, Sedentary life style, etc... , Thanks ... take care...
