How Does One Manage Painful Testicle Caused After Prostatectomy, Kidney Transplant And Hernia Operation?

I had a hernia operation last May and since that time I have had pain just below the hernia repair into the left groin area leading down into the left testicle, at times it feels though the testicle is being pulled up into my lower abdomen. The cord leading down to the testicle is also painful. I have had a prostectomy and kidney transplant on the right side.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Sounds to be orchitis of a significant amount.

Must take a doppler ultrasound of the testicle region and consult in follow up with the report of sonologist.

Till that time, analgesic as Chymoral Forte with paracetamol prescription from your doc would help best provided your doctor agrees with the same after evaluation of fresh creatinine level report.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
