Hi, I am from India, and as the case with most of the Indians my parents are addicted to Pan Parag. I would like to know how can they quit the habit, since both now finally see the reasons to do so. I also want to know, is there any substitute which they can chew on in the meanwhile they quit Pan Parag. Also is any kind of medication required for the same. Thanks, Avaneesh Vyas
hello Avaneesh welcome to health care magic. I can understand your parents are addicted to this habit. You should try to explain to them its potential bad effects including mouth cancer. you can download pictures and videos available over the internet for these cancers , this may provide them a will to quit. There are many medications available for leaving nicotine including nicotine patches etc. but this you need to discuss with a health care provider at your place but the will to quit is most important. If you need to ask me something more , you can write back to me. Regards Dr. Rohit Singh
