How Does One Test For STD?

Hi, I have a question, Yesterday my boyfriend called and said i gave him an STD which i think is impossible because I don't recall having any symptoms of anything. Can i go to the ER and get tested there? I need same day result because right now i am pretty stressed and want to know right away.

Thank you for query.there are many organisms which can be transmitted as STDs.they may be bacterial viral fungal or protozoal etc.The tests are carried out based on symptoms and clinical manifestations.tsome STds investigations which are done usually are for syphilis, HIV,Herpes, Hepatitis B, Gonorrhea, chlamydia , etc.you can get tested there only for same tests and get confirmed about the results rather than worrying. You can get back for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and venereologist
