How Early Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed After Intercourse?

Good day. Me and my husband are trying to get pregnant. My period are due tomorrow the 18th of May,however I got my period the 9th of May (22nd day of cycle) it was lighter than a period and less pain, 6 days on of bleeding. Could it be implantation bleeding? When should i do a pregnancy test, is it worth a try?Thank you

Hi,

A sensitive blood test of HCG can detect pregnancy as early as after 6-8 days of ovulation.

But without medical need, your doctor will not advice the same till your menses date is due.
