Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hai Doctor. I am sending this message from Bahrain. Today we check the pregnancy test from home and seems negative result. Actually today was the expected period of my wife. In the year 2012 after three months of our marriage she was pregnant unfortunately it was identified as blighten ovum and was cleared. At that time her thyroid level was extremely high which she is taking medication still. Asfer we have consulted a IVF / Gynaec specialist in our home town and prescribed long time medication and advise to continue trying for a baby. We hope to be conceive this time unfortunately it didn t happen. Are we too early on doing the urine check up considering today as the expected date of her period. Please advise when is the right time for a pregnancy test. Before she had a irregular period which was treated and cured. Seeking a valuable advise.
Hello dear , thank you for using HCM.I read your query and understand your concern. The best time to take a pregnancy home test is at least 5 days passed the expecting periods day and better to take two tests. Best regards.
