How Early Will I Go Into Labor With High BP During Pregnancy?

19 years old. 32 weeks and 2 days today. Weight right now is 186. Before pregnancy around 160. This is first baby which is a boy. I have high BP every time i go to the doctor. My feet always go numb and turn purple randomly even if im sitting down. They have done testing everytime to see if i have preclampsia but everything comes back normal. When i got my ultrasound at 18 weeks to determine the sex of the baby, my placenta and everything looked perfect. Didnt have a ultrasound after that. went to the hospital last week and i was 31 weeks they told me i have grade 3 placenta. Never heard of it until than, but i done some reading online and read it can cause baby to not get oxygen nd can be born stillbirth if it gets worse. My mom had me at 37 or 37 weeks, and had my brother at 33 weeks. So im thinking ill have him early. My doctor hasnt really said much. I just want to know how early he will be taken or if there going to make me go the whole 40 weeks and if they make me go the whole 40 weeks will he be born stillbirth!? All i know is if they let it go too long and my baby is born stillbirth, than im going to have BIGGGGG problems with every person who has been watching me and saying everything is okay when obviously its not. Also at my 18th week U/S everything was fine, so if it went from normal to grade 3 placenta that fast, does it mean it will keep continuing to get worse? My question is how early will he be born with the problems i have?

Hi,
In case of hypertension complicating the pregnancy such as the one you have now, there is a risk of utero-placental insufficiency and there are placental infarcts and calcification. You need to have regular monitoring, stress tests or non-stress tests to see if there is any fetal jeopardy, follow-up sonograms, diet modifications and tests to check for renal insufficiency. If there is anything needing urgent termination of pregnancy, it will be done. Placenta at this stage of pregnancy is usually grade II, a higher grade can be seen in PIH. Right now, if there is no such urgency, it is better to wait until the baby is mature. Please take rest in left lateral position and do not stress. Wish you good health.
