How Effective Is Escapelle In Preventing Pregnancy?

Hi, I took Escapelle 5 hours after the sexual contact. As stupid as it is, I took another Escapelle today( 3 days later), because I realized a condom has stayed inside me since that first time 3 days ago (and we had some troubles with the condoms the day before as well). So I am wondering now, how likely is that I can be still pregnant, because all this is happening in my ovulation days. Also, how these 2 pills in such a short time can affect or damage my body ? Thanks in advance for your answer!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, the use of Escapelle is safe. Some women have experienced changes I periods like coming too early or delay, or even heavy or light spotting for the following couple of months.

That will get better by time. Protection is secure, however, should observe your incoming periods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
