How Effective Is Rituxan For Low Red Blood Cell Count?

how effective is rituxan for low red blood cells,for which I am taking every 3 months along with folic acid. I have been diagnosed with hemylitic anemia. It seems to be working .While I have been an anemic all of my life,do you think I was more prone to having this ? I am 72 but looks and feels like 50. It has been under control going on a year;however, I was diagnosed in 2/11,and with many blood tranfusions,predisone,cytoxan,even had my spleen removed hoping this would help. But now the only thing that has helped are the rituxan and Folic acid.
